Lessons from the Home Office: Economy

“Economic expansions don’t die,” as aging economists often opine; “they are murdered by the Federal Reserve!” It’s no wonder that again, the FED is raising interest rates for the 11th time over the last 18 months to a multi-decade high of 5.25-5.50%. Economic forecasters are bemoaning the recession ahead.

It’s late April, 2023, and it must be time for another murder.
